Private Wealth Management Ladies Day

Ladies It’s always a pleasant surprise to come across a company, initiative or group of people that manage to inspire others through their own actions. Private Wealth Management recently spent a day with such a group of women in the breathtaking Stellenbosch winelands.

In honor of Mother's Day, PWM decided to spoil some of our female clients with a day out in the winelands getting to know each other but, more importantly also giving back to those mothers and children who are less fortunate. Two of our planners, Tania Rossouw and Wilna Potgieter, together with our guests were transported to Villiera Wine Estate to enjoy a bubbly and nougat tasting experience, followed by a lovely lunch.

The highlight of the day, however, was learning more about the Pebbles Project, a social responsibility initiative run and housed on the Villiera Farm that assists in providing education, health and nutrition programmes to children and families in the Winelands farming communities in the Western Cape.

Cathy Brewer, one of the owners of Villiera and Cape Wine Master, explained the huge impact of this project on the area and the amazing work that Villiera has done supporting Pebbles on top of their own sustainability and community work. Charmain Gola from the Pebbles Project then introduced us to Pebbles and the extensive work they do to support the community.

PWM was thrilled to be able to contribute to one of the latest drives of the project which focuses on providing waterproof gumboots to all the children in their care to provide for the wet, cold winter ahead. PWM sponsored 25 pairs of boots on behalf of our guests and clients as a kick-off to a long-term initiative to support this worthy cause in the future.

The day ended with an exciting game drive lovely wine and a truly memorable experience for all.

PWM would like to thank Cathy, Paul and everybody at Villeria, Charmaine and Musa from the Pebbles Project and all our lovely guests for a wonderful day supporting a great cause.
